About my Jimmy
My ride is a 01' GMC Jimmy...a very peculiar one at that. It has a Z85 package (steering components and suspension beefed up), the ZR2 skid plates that cover from the bottom of the radiatior back to the transfer case, and a tow package (larger shackles, electronic trailer brakes, factory hitch). The roof rack originally was polished aluminum, but I painted it with spray on bed liner; the grille was crome plated but I painted it with the spray on bed liner as well. It has a 2" body lift, which makes room for the 31" BFG A/T's. It can keep up with the big boys, despite its lack of ground clearance, which seems to be its only hinderance. (It will soon have a 2"suspension lift.) It's seen alot of trail action, and has actually fared me better than my Grand Cherokee.
