Does it work the way you want? Yes but it is limited.  There are many things on the list that I plan to add over the coming years
Anything you would change? Purchase some radial tires
Funniest Wheeling Incident: I was playing on the beach which is close to a luxury golf resort and at the end of the day some golfers decided to come play with us.  There is a long stretch of dry sand between the pavement and wet sand but the golfers were confident that their rental minivan could make it.  It made it about half way through before it was buried to the frame.  They offered me $50 if I could get them back to the pavement so I drug them to the wet sand and then we made a run for the pavement.  I only have a 4 cylinder so I had to give it all I had.  We were moving pretty quickly  and I know it was a rough ride because the driver kept applying the brakes on our way to the pavement.  2 of the 3 golfers decided to walk and they gave me a pat on the back for giving their friend a good ride.
Anything to add? This truck was my first vehicle 10 years ago.  It began as a stock 1988 with a standard cab, IFS, 6' bed, stock suspension height with 31" tires. I just finished the Custom Cab conversion in order to accommodate my 9 month old daughter Karly.  It has been a work in progress and the goal has been to transform it into a utility vehicle (mud, snow, sand, pavement) that can perform well off-road but remain street legal so it does not have to sit parked for the majority of its life.

Nice truck! I have seen a few stock, "Custom Cabs". Where did you get the custom part?

Interesting little addition you go there, kinda looks like the "Pope Mobile"...
