as you can probably tell, I love them, I grew up working on them along with the old man, he specialized in light duty diesel and automatic transmissions at a dealer then had a shop at home for several years till the county decided we couldn't do that anymore. I'm working on a cj-7 project that includes one of my 6.5's with mechanical injection and a banks sidewinder, I hardly get to mess with it, one of these days,.....I almost had enough dough put together for the steal J (Jp Magazine), I thought with all the mods and the 700r4 tranny it would make  a sweet ride for the 6.5, he sold it pretty quick. all of mine have been messed with and still get around 20mpg as long as I can keep my foot out of them, good luck passing me.LOL
I'm not gonna claim I can outpull a chiped dodge, (my cousin has one and makes sure I'm the choking on the black smoke) I can make them push it enough to get em a little hot. and mine are paid for.
